Kagami app: mirror your iPhone to a PC or Mac in full quality

8 November 2026 · 3 min read

Kagami (鏡, Japanese for "mirror") is a desktop app that puts your iPhone or iPad screen on your Windows PC or Mac, live and in full quality, and lets you record and stream it. It is made for mobile gamers, streamers and creators who want to play, record and stream from the big screen without lag or broken sound. Nothing is installed on the phone.

What Kagami does

Mirroring

  • Over a USB cable or the same Wi-Fi.
  • Your device's own full resolution, nothing scaled down.
  • Up to 120 Hz on ProMotion iPhones and iPads; 60 fps on the rest.
  • Very low delay: measured 0–40 ms on Wi-Fi, about 15 ms on average.
  • A live delay meter with a one-click Fix, and it catches up on its own if the picture falls behind.
  • Asks before a new device can connect, and remembers up to 50 of your devices.

Recording

  • One click or a hotkey, as MP4 or MOV, in best quality or smaller files.
  • Game sound and your mic in sync. Mixed into one video, or your mic as a separate file, your choice.
  • Crash-safe: your video is protected every 2 seconds inside the app, so you always get one complete file, even after a crash or power cut.
  • Clean files: recordings never carry a watermark, even on Free.

Instant replay (Zenn)

Kagami keeps the last 10 minutes ready. One key saves the last 15 seconds to 5 minutes, or type any length up to 10 minutes, with game sound and your mic. It works with your game or OBS in front.

Studio-quality mic clean-up

Noise removal in five strengths (even electric hum and fans), a voice enhancer, a noise gate, a compressor and a limiter. No plugins needed, with any mic.

Streaming and OBS

A full-quality picture in OBS, even when the Kagami window is small or hidden, plus a clean view with no buttons for window capture. Full screen or 16:9.

Privacy mode

One key covers your screen on stream, in OBS, in recordings and in replays. Type a password, then switch back.

Who it is for

  • Mobile gamers who play BGMI, Free Fire MAX, COD Mobile, Genshin Impact or any iPhone game and want it on a monitor.
  • Streamers on YouTube, Twitch or Kick who need a clean, full-quality iPhone source in OBS.
  • Creators recording tutorials, app demos, Shorts and Reels.

What you need

  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), or a Mac with Apple silicon on macOS 15 or later (Intel Macs are not supported). Same features on both.
  • Any iPhone or iPad with Screen Mirroring.

How to start

  1. Download Kagami from the download page.
  2. Plug in your iPhone (tap Trust) or join the same Wi-Fi.
  3. Open Control Centre → Screen Mirroring and pick Kagami.

Step-by-step guides: mirror an iPhone to a Windows PC, record iPhone gameplay and stream with OBS.

What it costs

  • Free: every feature except instant replay. A Kagami watermark shows on the live window and in OBS (never in your files), and recordings are up to 2 minutes. One computer.
  • Zenn: no watermark, unlimited recording and instant replay for a full year. A one-time payment that never renews by itself; buy again yourself if you want another year.
  • Founders 100: 18 months of Zenn plus your name on the Wall of Founders for life. Only 100 places in each region, offered once.

Is it safe?

Mirroring, recording and mic clean-up all run on your computer: your screen and recordings never reach Kagami's servers. Every release is scanned on VirusTotal with a public report. Payments go through trusted payment partners, and we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Who makes Kagami?

Kagami is made by Jod, an independent developer and mobile game streamer in India, who built it after every way of mirroring an iPhone lagged or broke with a streaming setup. Read the story.
